Highrise, in a nutshell
Highrise is a place where anyone can create, exist and communicate openly and be who they want to be! You can build personal spaces, code your own games, compete against other players and foster relationships that go far beyond the boundaries of Highrise!
Together, we can go over some of the things all Highrisers need to know and hopefully this allows you to experience all that Highrise has! Please note, I am not a staff member or developer for the app so all of this is from a players perspective.

Building the basics
It all begins with You. Your big ideas. Your big plans and dreams!
So you just got started in Highrise, got your avatar picked out, your first room and now you are stuck.
”What do I do… now?” You may be asking to yourself.
Well, thats a hard question to answer because there is so much to learn, so many people to meet and experiences to see but, lets start with one of the most important!
YOU!
Your avatar is important. It represents who you are and is the first thing most people will see! Every player has their own unique style that sets them apart from the rest! Its up to you, to find your own vibe, in Highrise
There are many ways to acquire new clothing items for your avatar! Lets go over a few and where to find them!
Once you enter Highrise for the first time you will see many ways to access the market, grabs, and other type of sales options to gain new clothing items! The various paths to gain new items include:
Player to Player Trading
Black Market
Spinning Grabs
Buying Sales Packs
Event prizes
Bubble Shops
I will explain most of these in detail!
This is the process in which two players can swap items, gold or other things such as pets and accessories between each other. This process is peer to peer meaning all trades are final!
Please understand that this is not something that is NOT reversible and trading should always be double checked, confirmed and finally accepted by both parties! I will include a sample trade!
Player-to-Player Trading
This is the basic trade screen! You have 9 slots to add items, gold or anything else thats tradable!
Here we can see the trade was initiated, an item was added and the user @Authorization locked it, meaning they are unable to change their side of the trade without unlocking!
Here we can see the I locked the trade prompting both players to check and then accept the trade.
Both players have accepted and now I can collect the items I had been given in the trade!
The Black Market
The Black Market is a place where any player can sell any tradable item at the price they want. Its a player run system where the lowest price is shown and you can sort of search for items by name, price and what type of item you are looking for!
This system allows for players to liquidate their inventory of items in a mass scale.
Spinning Grabs
The grab system is a randomized item machine that costs between 150g to 400g depending on what the grab has in it. Most of them are 200g per spin and you can do a 10x spin for 2000g where you are guaranteed an epic (Purple) item!
These grabs also usually have a pity system where after 90 spins it gives you a legendary!
Base Events:
These tasks often times reward the player with items and other resources for completing milestones or having a high placement individually, or with their crew!
Prank:
This is an event style where you go up to another player, tap the bubble above their head and attempt a prank! (Tap the button) and you gain tickets off completed pranks!
Fashion:
This style of event allows 2 users to walk on stage and you as the judge will pick the outfit you like the most and goes best with the theme! Alot of times its just the outfit that is bigger!
World Based:
These events could be anything! Fishing, catching critters or ghosts. Sometimes you walk the runway, fight evil clowns and pop balloons! Endless fun in the 3d world based events!
